The Chinese Pastoral and Cultural Center is a vibrant and welcoming faith community serving Chinese Catholics and families in the Diocese of Oakland. Since our founding in 1978, we’ve grown into a spiritual home where faith and Chinese culture come together in a beautiful expression of God’s love.

Whether you’re a lifelong Catholic or just starting to explore your faith, you are warmly invited to join us!

Our Mission

We are called to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of God and share the teachings of the Catholic Church, rooted in the richness of our Chinese heritage. Through faith, hope, and love, we seek to serve all people, drawing them closer to Christ.

What We Offer

At the heart of our community is the Sunday Chinese Mass, where we gather as one family to worship, pray, and grow in faith.

In addition, we offer:

Sacraments in Chinese, including:
- Baptism
- Confirmation
- Marriage
- Confession
- Anointing of the Sick
- Funerals
Faith Formation and Catechism Classes
Spiritual Retreats and Reflection Days
Community Potlucks and Social Gatherings
Cultural Events and Family Travel Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunities and Leadership Development

All of our activities are lovingly planned by our dedicated committee and brought to life by our amazing volunteers.
