Filipino Community of St. Leander Parish
The Filipino Community of St. Leander Parish was formally formed in 2013 to encourage unity and fellowship not only among the Fil-Am parishioners at St. Leander but also to promote goodwill and harmony with the multi-cultural faith community at large by celebrating our love for God, our rich cultural heritage, and our shared mission of service. The Filipino Community plans activities and encourages participation among children and adults alike.
Our community gathers regularly for Mass, and traditional celebrations like Simbang Gabi and devotions to Blessed Virgin Mary. Through these events, we strengthen our bonds as a family of faith and bring our unique Filipino spirit to the larger parish.
💖 Our Mission: To grow in faith, foster unity, and share the Gospel through prayer, fellowship, and service.
💒 What We Offer:
- Spiritual growth through Masses and devotions
- Fellowship and cultural events to celebrate our traditions
- Service opportunities to support our parish and community
We warmly invite you to join us in worship, celebration, and service. Together, let’s live out our faith and bring glory to God through our Filipino heritage.
Mabuhay! 🙏🇵🇭

Everyone is invited to join the early morning procession to celebrate the re-enactment of the Risen Christ’s encounter with His grieving Mother on Easter Sunday while young angels sing Regina Coeli. It is immediately followed by the Holy Mass and breakfast reception. LIVING ROSARY (December)
To celebrate the Feast of Immaculate Conception, parishioners gather inside the church as a huge rosary lay on the church aisle. Representatives from various ethnicities lead the rosary in their respective native languages while the congregation likewise responds in their own individual native language. Candles are lighted to represent each rosary bead.
SIMBANG GABI (December 16-24)
Priests from other parishes are invited to preside during the nine-day novena masses. Parishioners are welcome to sponsor mass presider’s stipends and/or breakfast receptions. Sponsors are acknowledged and are requested to present the gifts of wine and bread during Presentation of Gifts, and their mass intentions during Prayers of the Faithful.
