The Ministry of the Word (Lector)
“Proclaim the Word. Inspire the Faithful.”
Are you a confirmed Catholic with a love for Scripture and a desire to serve your parish community? Consider becoming a Lector at St. Leander’s!
Lectors have the sacred responsibility of proclaiming the Word of God during Mass, helping to bring Scripture to life for the congregation. This is more than just reading—it’s a ministry of presence, preparation, and prayer.
Why Join the Lector Ministry?
- Deepen Your Faith: Engage more fully with Scripture and grow in your spiritual life.
