Our new Liturgical Assistant

Hi! I am happy to join the parish of St. Leander! I have been involved with liturgical coordination for well over a decade now at a few different parishes, and it is my sincere hope that my knowledge and experience can be of service to this beautiful church community. The word liturgy comes from the Greek “leitourgia,” which translates into “work of the people.” Therefore, my dream of liturgy is twofold: [1] to reflect the radical acceptance and inclusivity of the heavenly banquet, and [2] to promote, encourage, and support the full, active, and conscious participation of all parishioners. If you see me around, feel free to ask me about all things liturgy–a topic I can nerd out about. I truly look forward to working alongside all of you in the coming years!
