Salubong: Volunteers Needed
Salubong Celebration – Join Us for a Beautiful Filipino Tradition!
Preparation for the Salubong, the Filipino tradition reenacting the meeting of the Risen Christ with His Blessed Mother, is now underway! This year, we invite all parents and guardians to bring their children (ages 5-12) to participate as angels, cross, and candle bearers in the procession (first come, first serve).
The Filipino Community is preparing for this beautiful tradition, and we encourage everyone to join us on Easter Sunday, April 20th, to celebrate together in joy.
Ways to Get Involved:
- Register your child to be an angel or a cross/candle bearer.
- Become a Mass Sponsor or Donate for the Breakfast Reception.
- **Become an andas or float carrier (8 men needed)
Date: Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025
Time: Procession begins at 4:30 AM, followed by Holy Mass and breakfast reception.
