Music is a powerful and joyful expression of our faith. At St. Leander’s, our Ministry of Music brings the liturgy to life, helping the congregation lift their hearts and voices to God. Whether through hymns of praise, quiet reflection, or festive celebration, music helps us pray, connect, and celebrate as one Church.

Liturgical music is more than just singing—it’s a sacred part of the Mass that deepens our experience of the Word and the Eucharist. When we sing together, we participate more fully in the mystery of the liturgy, glorifying God and drawing closer to one another.
As the Church teaches, music in the liturgy should be:
- Beautiful – Expressing the spirit of prayer and reverence.
- Participatory – Encouraging the whole assembly to join in.
- Sacred – Enhancing the solemnity and joy of the celebration.

Saturday 4:30PM Santinig Choir
Lifting hearts through song every Saturday at the 4:30 PM Vigil Mass
The Santinig Choir is a joyful and dedicated group of singers, cantors, and instrumentalists who come together each week to lead our parish in worship through music. Rooted in faith and community, the choir brings beauty and spirit to the liturgy, helping all who attend to pray more deeply through song.
🎵 What We Do
- Lead the congregation in song during the Saturday Vigil Mass
- Celebrate cultural richness through a diverse selection of sacred music
- Foster community among members who share a love for music and ministry
🕒 Rehearsals
We rehearse every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the chapel of the parish office, just before the 4:30 PM Mass. It’s a time of preparation, fellowship, and joyful music-making.

¡Cantamos con alegría, fe y comunidad!
El Coro de las 6:30 PM anima la Misa en Español cada sábado por la noche con música llena de vida, devoción y esperanza. A través del canto, ayudamos a la comunidad a orar, celebrar y sentir la presencia viva de Dios en la liturgia.

- Guiar a la asamblea en la alabanza y oración durante la Misa
- Celebrar nuestras raíces culturales con cantos tradicionales y contemporáneos en español

Bringing joy, harmony, and spirit to our Sunday celebration
The 11:00 AM Choir is a vibrant and welcoming group of singers, cantors, and instrumentalists who come together each Sunday to lead our parish in song. With hearts full of faith and voices lifted in praise, we help create a meaningful and prayerful worship experience for all who gather.

- Lead the congregation in joyful and reflective music during the 11:00 AM Mass
- Enhance the liturgy with sacred music that inspires prayer and participation
- Foster community among those who love to sing and serve
🕒 Rehearsals
We rehearse every Sunday at 10:00 AM at the church, just before Mass. It’s a time to prepare, connect, and grow together in both music and faith.
