Jun 20 – 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time (GREEN)

In today’s gospel according to Matthew, Jesus encouraged his apostles not to be intimidated or afraid because “Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father.” He comforted them, assuring that in God’s eyes their worth exceeds a flock of sparrows. God knows them intimately and cares for them.
