Religious Education (CCD)
“Helping Children Grow in Faith, Love, and the Sacraments”
At St. Leander’s, our Religious Education Program (CCD) is dedicated to nurturing the faith of our parish’s school-aged children. Through engaging lessons, prayer, and community, we help children come to know and love Jesus while preparing them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
What We Offer
Our program teaches the core beliefs and traditions of the Catholic faith in a way that’s age-appropriate, interactive, and rooted in love. We work in partnership with parents to help children grow into faithful, joyful Catholics who are active participants in the life of the Church.
Who Can Enroll?
Children in grades 1–6 are welcome to join our CCD program. Whether your child is just beginning their faith journey or preparing for the sacraments, we’re here to walk with them every step of the way.
How to Register
To enroll your child, please submit a completed Catechetical Program Registration Form along with a copy of their Baptismal Certificate. Forms are available through the parish office or by request via email.

Volunteer Opportunities
Do you feel called to share your faith with the next generation? We’re always looking for Catechists and volunteers to help in the classroom or behind the scenes. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or simply have a heart for children and the Church, we’d love to have you on our team.
Middle and high school students looking to fulfill service hours are also encouraged to volunteer!
