Accepting Donations Now & Sign-ups Begin on Nov. 9th

Thank you, St. Leander parishioners for your generosity in past years.  Once again, with your help, the St. Leander Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will distribute food boxes to the needy living in our parish boundaries.

Sign-ups for Thanksgiving food boxes will be taken from November 9th through the 20th or until our limit of 50 boxes is eached. 

Please come by or call 510-895-5631to sign up. We will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Boxes will be distributed on Tuesday, November 24th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Ryan O’Connell Hall.

We are in need of the following items:          

Muffin mix                                        Stuffing mix
Boxed mashed potatoes                Canned green beans
Canned fruit                                     Canned cranberry sauce
Canned or jars of gravy                  Canned yams
Broth – Chicken or Turkey               Jello

Gracias, feligreses de St. Leander, por su generosidad en los últimos años. Una vez más, con su ayuda, la Conferencia St. Leander de la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul distribuirá cajas de comida a los necesitados que viven en los límites de nuestra parroquia.

Las inscripciones para las cajas de comida del Día de Acción de Gracias se realizarán del 09 al 20 de noviembre o hasta que se alcance nuestro límite de 50 cajas. Por favor venga o llame al (510) 895-5631 para inscribirse. La oficina estará cerrada el miércoles, 11 de noviembre en observancia del Día de los Veteranos.

Las cajas se distribuirán el martes 24 de noviembre de 10:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m. en el salón Ryan O’Connell.

Puré de papas en caja       Ejotes enlatadas
Caldo de Pollo o Pavo        Jello (gelatina)
Fruta enlatada           Salsa de arándanos enlatada
Camotes enlatados           Conservas o frascos de salsa para pavo
