St. Leander School has been a cornerstone of the San Leandro Catholic community for over 140 years. Founded by Fr. John McEvoy and staffed by the Dominican Sisters of Benicia, the school began as St. Mary’s School and has continued to evolve and grow with the times.
From our early roots to our modern classrooms, one thing has remained constant: our dedication to providing an excellent Catholic education rooted in love, service, and faith.
