Holy Orders
“Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate (bishops), presbyterate (priests), and diaconate (deacons).“
Catechism of the Catholic Church
The Sacrament of Holy Orders is a sacred calling to serve God and His people through ordained ministry. Through this sacrament, the mission Jesus entrusted to His apostles continues in the life of the Church today.
Men who are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops dedicate their lives to proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and shepherding the faithful with compassion and humility. It is a profound response to God’s invitation to lead, to serve, and to love.
If you feel God may be calling you to explore a vocation to the priesthood or diaconate, we encourage you to take that first step. We are here to walk with you, pray with you, and support you on your journey of discernment.
