CONFIRMATIONS
Later in this month of May, the Vicar General of the Diocese of Oakland, the Very Rev. Lawrence D’Anjou, will come to St. Leander to Confirm over 100 of our parishioners! Please pray for all those who will receive this initiation sacrament later this month. And a sincere thank you to all the Confirmation catechists!
PENTECOST
On May 24 (and the evening of May 23), the Church will celebrate Pentecost. 50 days after Easter, we traditionally hold this day to be the birthday of the Church, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in the upper room. You are encouraged to wear red, the liturgical color of the day.

Those seeking legal consultations with an immigration attorney, application & renewals of work permits, residency renewals, asylum applications, and many other services are encouraged to attend this free Immigration Workshop & Clinic. They speak Spanish, English, and MAM. No registration needed; Walk-ins welcome.

PENTECOSTÉS
El 24 de mayo (y en la tarde del 23 de mayo), la Iglesia celebrará Pentecostés. 50 días después de la Pascua, tradicionalmente consideramos este día como el cumpleaños de la Iglesia, momento en que el Espíritu Santo descendió sobre los Apóstoles en el Cenáculo. Se les invita a vestir de rojo, el color litúrgico del día.

TALLER Y CLÍNICA DE INMIGRACIÓN GRATUITOS
Patrocinado en parte por Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB).
Se invita a asistir a este Taller y Clínica de Inmigración gratuitos a todas aquellas personas que busquen consultas legales con un abogado de inmigración, tramitar solicitudes y renovaciones de permisos de trabajo, renovaciones de residencia, solicitudes de asilo y muchos otros servicios. Se habla español, inglés y mam. No se requiere inscripción previa; se atiende sin cita.
Cuando: Cada tercer sábado del mes, de 10:00 a. m. a 2:30 p. m.
