Legion of Mary
Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic organization at the service of the Roman Catholic Church, under ecclesiastical guidance. Its twofold purpose is the spiritual development of its members and advancing the reign of Christ through Mary.
Weekly works by the St. Leander group mainly include visiting the home-bound elderly and the sick as well as at home care facilities by bringing them communion and evangelizing by making and distributing rosaries and doing door-to-door visits within the St. Leander boundary.
Weekly meetings are held at the Parish Office Conference Room on Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contact Mimelle Lorino at (510) 701-5064 for information.
