The Pastoral Council is a group of volunteer parishioners who, together with the pastor, acts as a consultative structure in a parish designated primarily to envision, plan and oversee the mission of the parish community as an extension of the mission of Jesus.
Guided by the Mission Statement and the Five-Year Plan, the Pastoral Council collaborates with staff members, parishioners, committees, ministries, and organizations to carry out this vision. Pastoral Council members serve a three-year term. Three new members are commissioned each year through a discernment process conducted each Fall.
The Pastoral Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Parishioners wishing to bring issues before the council may submit their request to the Parish Office.
