Knights of Columbus Silver Rose Program

The Silver Rose Program was started 58 years ago by the Colombian Squires in Mexico.
They began the run to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe. In the mid 1990’s the program was
expanded to include all the Knights of Columbus in North America.

St. Leander’s Council 16028 of the Knights of Columbus will be hosting the Silver Rose
Monday August 20 in the afternoon until noon on Tuesday August 21. After leaving St. Leander the Silver Rose will continue its journey stopping at various parishes along the way.

The final destination of the Silver Rose is December 12, Our lady of Guadalupe Feast day at the Basilica at Monterey, Mexico.  Parishioners are invited for rosary Monday August 20 @ 6:45 p.m., followed by Mass at 7:15 p.m.
