How do I offer a mass intention?

Mass intentions may only be made in person at the Parish Office on Wednesdays – Fridays.

Who are given dispensation from attending masses in-person?

Subject to restrictions implemented by authorizing COVID-19 related agencies, dispensation is granted only to seniors or those over 65 years old and those whose health is compromised by certain illness such as diabetes, cancer and other metabolic diseases. You are also excused if you are feeling sick or had been exposed to people who tested positive for coronavirus.

If I cannot attend mass in person, how can I give my donation?

You may send your donation through any of the following methods:
1. by dropping at the Parish Office
2. online at https://oakdiocese.org/parish-support
3. by mailing a check made payable to :

St. Leander Church
474 W. Estudillo Avenue
San Leandro, CA 94577.

Is the church open to pray?

Due to the pandemic, the church is open only for in-person masses in limited capacity.

Faith Formation

Are you accepting registration for children’s religious education (CCD), first communion or confirmation?

Due to the pandemic, registration for 2020-21 has been canceled until further notice. Contact the Parish Office to sign up for the waiting list and we will notify you when classes are scheduled to resume. Please note that priority is given to registered parishioners.

Sacraments

How do I apply for baptism?

Call or visit the Parish Office for application packet, schedule, and information.

How do I apply for wedding, anniversaries or quinceañera?

Contact the Parish Office for application and information six months in advance of the event.
